As many of you know, our family has some white trash qualities (well, not everyone in our family but it wears off on me from time to time). J-ASS introduced the boys to tailgating, Hormel chili and all! I guess you could call it “Redneck in Training Night”! We had a blast hanging with good friends and cheering on the monster trucks!

Mammoth

We had too much fun during our week in Mammoth! After ringing in the New Year, we were able to enjoy a full day of falling snow! This provided much fun for Thing #1 and Thing #2 (and all of the adults too!)…beautiful scenery, night sledding, ang great snowboarding conditions when the sun came back out. The boys ROCK on snowboards! They were carving it up on the mountain. Can’t wait to do it again!
Although Thing #1 looks miserable, I swear he had a good time. I think it was time for a snack and hot chocolate!
